Leah Johnson is the Deputy Director of Workforce Development for The Los Angeles Coalition. She joins The Coalition with over eleven years of professional experience in consulting and public policy. As a former consultant with PwC’s People & Organization practice, Leah advised senior leaders in solving critical human capital issues, including managing large-scale change and evaluating and managing workforce performance. Her consulting experience includes developing and leading custom training programs for Fortune 500 leaders in the financial services, healthcare, and consumer packaged goods industries.
Prior to her work in consulting, Leah worked with both the state and local government in Arizona. As a Senior Fiscal Advisor to the Joint Legislative Budget Committee, she collaborated with high-level leaders in government and industry to develop annual funding and strategic recommendations for multiple agencies, including the state university system. She has experience mobilizing stakeholders to implement community improvement initiatives as a Council Aide for the Phoenix City Council.
Leah holds an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and an MPA from Arizona State University. She completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Arizona, graduating with a BA in Political Science and BS in Marketing.
