Charles Hirschhorn, President, Otis College of Arts and Design

Charles is the president of Otis College of Art and Design. As the former President of AXS TV, Charles Hirschhorn brings more than 30 years of experience in film production, television, cable, broadband, animation and video games. Prior to AXS TV, Hirschhorn helped launch numerous television networks, including FOX; G4 TV; and Retirement Living Television.

Hirschhorn spent 10 years at The Walt Disney Company in various management roles in motion pictures, television and animation. He is the Founder of Fountain Productions, an independent production company which produces theatrical motion pictures, TV movies and direct-­‐to-­‐video films. His credits include: “Bull Durham,” “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,” “The Miracle Worker,” “Inspector Gadget II,” and “Herbie: Fully Loaded”.

Hirschhorn earned a BA from Harvard College and served as an Arts Management Fellow for the National Endowment for the Arts. In addition to volunteer work counseling convicted felons at Chrysalis, he serves on the Board of The Berklee College of Music, The Harvard College Office of the Arts, and LA City Partners.
